Urban Pataka adheres to the highest quality standards and takes great care in deliveries. In the rare instance you are not happy with your purchase, please note below the exchange policy.
At Urban Pataka, we're dedicated to crafting high-quality, eco-friendly fashion that exceeds our customers' expectations. To minimize waste and reduce our environmental impact, we produce each item only when ordered. As a result, we don't offer exchanges, but instead, invite you to place a new order if you'd like a different colour or style.
Eligibility Criteria for Exchange
Your purchase may be eligible for exchange as per the criteria below:
- We will only accept an exchange query if you have received a damaged product. Any damaged orders must be reported within 48 hours of receipt for processing a replacement.
- If a piece is exchanged once, it cannot be exchanged a second time.
- Not all products are eligible for exchange. All made-to-order products are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.
- Products purchased during sale periods or at discounted pricing are not eligible for returns or exchange.
- All international exchanges — including shipping and customs costs for return shipment and re-shipment — must be borne by the customer unless the product received is damaged.
- For damaged products, Urban Pataka will cover the shipping costs once the situation has been confirmed via email.
- In case of size issues, we are open to alterations.
Exchange Process
If your purchase meets the exchange criteria above, please contact our customer care team within 7 days of delivery via infourbanpataka@gmail.com.
For damage or quality issues, please provide your order number, transaction date, delivery address, and clear images of the defective item along with the original packaging.
In case of garment size exchange, please also mention the purchased size, issue faced, and your new size requirement.
Our customer care team will investigate and revert within 2 working days. Upon confirmation, please follow the steps below:
In Case of Quality Issue or Defect
- Pack the product in its original packaging along with the invoice, labels, tags, authenticity cards, bags, boxes, and any other inclusions sold as part of the purchase.
- Once the product reaches our warehouse, it will undergo a quality inspection. If approved, a replacement piece will be dispatched within standard shipping timelines.
- If a replacement is not available, a credit note will be issued for the full amount of the damaged product.
- Credit notes can be used both online and in our stores.
In Case of Size Exchange of Garments
- Pack the product in its original packaging with the invoice, labels, tags, authenticity cards, bags, boxes, and any other inclusions.
- Send the product to our warehouse at the address provided by our customer support team.
- Once received and quality checked, and after payment of shipping charges for the replacement, a new piece will be dispatched within standard timelines.
- If a replacement is unavailable, a credit note will be issued after deduction of initial shipping charges.
- We offer size exchanges only for the same article purchased. No exchanges for different prints, styles, or designs.
- Size exchanges are not applicable for sale or discounted purchases.
Refund Policy
If your purchase meets the eligibility criteria stated above, we will exchange and offer a fresh piece. In the rare instance that we are unable to do so, a credit note will be issued to the registered email address used during purchase.
The credit note will be valid for three (3) months from the date of issue and can be redeemed both online and at any of our stores across India.

- During our annual sale, all products are custom-made to your size. These are not clearance items but newly produced garments.
- There may be slight variations in print placement, which are part of the handmade process. Returns will not be accepted on this basis.

- Store credits or coupon codes cannot be applied on sale products.
